When was the last time you got a little moment of relaxation to yourself? No interruptions? Busy mum and local blogger Steph Gore (@StephLovesHoney) cherished the opportunity to take some time out with The Hideout recently. Here she reminds us how great it can be…
Me time. It can be a really tricky thing to fit in to a busy life, especially when you add children into the mix! Appointments need to be carefully scheduled to coincide with Daddy’s day off or babysitter availability, whilst simultaneously attempting to maintain some sort of routine in terms of meals, naps and bedtimes.
But what if there was a way you could visit a tranquil spa and have a relaxing facial or a massage (or both), all without leaving the house? Wouldn’t that be great? Well now you can, The Hideout brings the spa to you!
When Tash pulled up outside our house in a car almost as a small as mine (mine’s a Fiat 500 just for some context), little did I expect her to go all Mary Poppins and magically produce EVERYTHING she needed to turn our lounge into a fully stocked treatment room! I’m not kidding, she’d thought of it all, from a delicious scented candle to colour coordinated towels and blankets, as well as relaxing music and a subtle lamp so we didn’t have to keep our bright overhead light on.
I was treated to a back, neck and scalp massage and it was bliss! I have high standards when it comes to these things and while I have never walked out of a massage (I mean how would that even work, the logistics are too difficult to fathom), I have certainly not returned to or recommended places where they haven’t been up to scratch! Luckily, there was no danger of that, as Tash left me feeling incredibly relaxed and a whole lot lighter.
To top it off, Tash used beautiful Clarins and Neal’s Yard products so I felt really pampered, my skin was super soft and the best part of it all was that I could climb straight into my pyjamas afterwards, woo hoo!
So if you’re looking to treat yourself or buy vouchers for a loved one, find Tash hiding out at The Cotswold Baby and Toddler Show on Sunday 19the November 2017 and if you can’t wait until then, head over to Facebook or Instagram to get in touch.
