Never too pretty to play RUGBY

Updated: Aug 12, 2019

On Sunday 5th May my son, mum and I attended the launch party of Didi Rugby Cheltenham.

It was a chance to see what the new class to Cheltenham for ages 18 months to 6 years olds was about. It was at Cheltenham Civil Services RFC, my son took part in the free taster session for his age range- he is 2.5years old so participated in the 18 months - 3 year old session. As above the new classes to Cheltenham will be at the Uckington Village Hall.

The morning was a great way to get to see what the children will do in the classes:

“The sessions are multi-skilled activity fun sessions, with individual and team skills that prepare youngsters for any ball game or activity, but Rugby based to allow progression onto mini rugby (tag).”

What I found great was that they are open and flexible to children attending the sessions with their age and ability taken into account, so if you feel that they should be in a different aged class you just need to discuss it with the Didi rugby team.

I personally love any activity where my son can run around and burn some energy off as he seems to have an abundance of it! Didi rugby will help encourage him to listen and play during physical activity and gaining self-confidence.

There are lots of merchandise to buy and wear too which you will access to at a discounted rate once you have signed up to the Didi membership.
